IGP’s GROUP LIFE ASSURANCE SCHEME: CP S.S. DIKKO, fsi PRESENTS CHEQUES AMOUNTING N6,566,928.40

NAPTIP, Vigilante Group and Management of Liberty Radio/Television Visits CP Kano

I am very well impressed with the work CP Dikko is doing in Kano, keep it up; NAPTIP Consultant tells CP Kano

On the 30/09/2021, the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko, fsi Presented Cheques amounting to Six Million Five Hundred and Sixty Six Thousand, Nine Hundred and Twenty Eight Naira, Forty Kobo (N6,566,928.40) to beneficiaries of Inspector General of Police Scheme. The beneficiaries that were presented with cheques are six next of kin of five deceased Police Officers.

2. During The presentation, CP Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko, fsi charged the beneficiaries to judiciously use the money for the up keep and welfare of the families, the management team, then prayed for the departed souls. The beneficiaries overwhelmed with the gesture of the IGP, promise to make good use of the money as it comes in time of need.

3. On the 05/10/2021, an entourage from the National Agency for the Prohibition of Traffic in Persons and other related matters (NAPTIP) led by Mr Godwin E. Morka, a consultant of United Nations Office for Drug Control (UNODC), together with NAPTIP Regional Director, Mansur Ahmad and Zonal Coordinator, Turajo Abdulkadir Muhammad visits CP Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko, fsi in his office at the Bompai Police Headquarters Kano. In his Remark, Mr. Godwin stated that; “I am very well impressed with the work CP Dikko is doing in Kano, keep it up.” He further Stated that, they visited the command to maintain the cordial relationship that have been existing. Stating that; “we are concern about the synergy amongst security agencies in the State. We want security agencies in the State to synergize in operations and investigation.” In his response, CP S.S. Dikko, fsi stated that “in Kano State there is synergy amongst the security agencies. Days of rivalry are over. We are working together. The security and safety of the State is our first priority. In addition to security meetings at the office his Excellency, the Executive Governor of kano State, we also use to hold meetings in my office regularly. We are ready to give you all necessary support and assistance.”

4. On the 04/10/2021, the Commander, Vigilante Group 0f Nigeria (VGN) Kano State, Mallam Shehu Rabiu visited CP Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko, fsi. In his remarks on the purpose of the visit, he stated that, “we are at your office to seek for your support and cooperation. No amount of words can express our gratitude for the supports we use to get from the command. We need your guidance in discharging our duties.” In his response, the CP stated that, “we are very much aware of your contribution in ensuring safety and security of Kano State. Continue to do the good work you have been doing. Continue to lecture your men, let them work with Divisional Police Officers in their Jurisdictions”. He urged them not to take laws into their hands, not do detain suspect and hand over suspects immediately to the nearest Police station after arrest.He also called on all vigilantes working in the state to provide useful information to the Police, not to video record suspect because it will affect investigation. He thank them for the visit and urge them to continue to do the good work they are doing.

5. On the 30/09/2021, the management of Atar Communication Kano State, the owner of Liberty Radio/Television led by the station manager Kano, Aliyu Mudi Sulaiman, rpa visits CP Sama’ila Shua’ibu Dikko, fsi at the Bompai Headquarters, Kano. In his remark on the purpose of the visit, the station manager stated that, ’’we visited the command Headquarters to introduce ourselves formally. We have cordial relationship with you and we need your support . Our aim is to inform, educate, entertain and enlighten the members of public, especially on issues of security. We will also give you all necessary support and cooperation. In his response, the CP stated that, he sincerely appreciate them for the visit. That, the command is ready to partner with them and promise to give all necessary support, assistance and cooperation. “We must thank you your support in covering our activities including our achievements. We will continue to ensure security of the State”, the CP said.
